Beschreibung
A well-presented semi-detached cottage situated just a 5-minute walk from Cornamona village, close to the shores of Lough Corrib. Also known as “Joyce Country”, this area is popular for lake fishing and hill walking.

The accommodation in this semi-detached cottage is all on the ground floor level. It sleeps comfortably 4 guests.

Both bedrooms have wooden floors and provide ample storage drawers and wardrobes. Both en-suite bathrooms include WC, sink, and electric shower over the bath.

A washing machine and tumble dryer are available in the external utility area.

Outdoor seating is available at the front of the property, perfect for those relaxing evenings after a day out exploring the region.

The property is oil-centrally heated throughout

This is an ideal location for families and friends seeking a getaway in an idyllic and peaceful location, while still being close to the nearby villages of Cornamona (300m), Clonbur (9km) and Maam (9km).
Cornamona village hosts a shop, a pub, a playground, a pier, and a community centre.

Attractions in the area:
- Lough Corrib, Lough Musk and Lough Naffooey (ideal for fishing)
- The Western Way - a long-distance walking trail that will take you to the ancient site of Mámean
- Cong Village
- Ashford Castle
- Leenane and the coastline at Killary Harbour
- Bigger towns: Ballinrobe, Westport, Oughterard and Clifden can be reached within a 30-40 min drive

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Heating and Electricity:
This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager before arrival how this is calculated or before making the booking.

2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid before check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
